Jared Diamond is a scientist and currently Professor of Geography at the University of California, Los Angeles, he is also an author of many books. Some of the books he wrote are, Gun, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Society, and The Third Chimpanzee: The Evolution and Future of Human Society. Jared studies ornithology and geography. He went to Harvard University, and has a PHD On the physiology and biophysics of membranes in the gall bladder from the University of Cambridge in 1961.
Guns, Germs, and Steel is a book written by Jared Diamond in 1997. The book attempts to explain why Eurasian civilizations have survived and conquered others, while arguing against the idea Eurasian hegemony is due to any form of Eurasian intellectual, moral or inherent genetic superiority.
